Nkọwa okwu is an online Igbo dictionary with over 25,000+ dialectal words, 50,000+ Igbo sentences, 100+ hours of Igbo audio, and 19 dialects. Nkọwa okwu is built on top of and leverages the Igbo API to create the highest-quality, accessible, and robust language learning language tools. Nkọwa okwu is an open-source project built by amazing volunteers.
The Igbo API is the most extensive multidialectal, audio-supported, open-source Igbo-English dictionary API. It makes it incredibly easy for users to request Igbo words by searching in Igbo or English.
The Technical and Content Writing team is broadly responsible for developing various types of content and documentation for external and internal developers and stakeholders. The team is also responsible for educating and helping other teammates create content and docs.
