Step 2a: Add Dialectal Words and Examples from Igbo Text to Igbo API

In order to make our main goal of 25,000 words/dialectal variations and 25,000 example sentences by the end of the project timeline, we need to be able to work through large bodies of Igbo text that include words that don’t exist or need updating in the Igbo API.

<aside> 💡 Important: Even though we have the target of 25,000 dialectal variations, we approximate that this project will generate 8,000 to 10,000 “complete” words.

Important: Each Lexicographer has identified which dialects they are knowledgeable in. This project centers around creating a multi-dialectal resource. So not only will you be adding Standard Igbo, but also Dialectal variations. By remembering this, we will more than definitely be able to hit our goal of 25,000 word dialectal variations.

The following table will breakdown which bodies of text is assigned to which team members.
